What is Baskets.fund?
Baskets.fund is a permissionless launchpad for tokenized basket funds on Robinhood Chain. Anyone can create a basket from whitelisted tokenized equities and ETFs, and anyone can mint or redeem fund tokens by swapping into or out of the underlying constituents.
How it works
- Create a basket — Pick a name, image, and up to 26 whitelisted constituents (e.g. AAPL, GOOGL, SPY). Set target backing ratios; the protocol enforces them on every mint and redeem.
- Mint (buy) — Deposit ETH. The app swaps ETH into each constituent via on-chain Uniswap liquidity, then mints fund tokens to your wallet in one Permit2-signed transaction.
- Redeem (sell) — Burn fund tokens to receive your proportional share of every constituent, then swap constituents back to ETH.
Pricing & NAV
Each basket displays a net asset value (NAV) per fund token, computed from Chainlink price feeds for every constituent on Robinhood Chain. WETH is priced at 1 ETH. NAV reflects the fair value of the backing portfolio; the pool price on Uniswap may trade at a premium or discount.
Swaps
Constituent swaps run entirely on-chain through Uniswap's Universal Router on Robinhood Chain — no hosted trading API. Routes are discovered per token: most equities swap through USDG v4 pools; others (e.g. AAPL, MSFT, TSLA) route through the Ravenhood (RVH) v3 hub. All legs for a mint or redeem are batched into a single swap transaction where possible.
Supported assets
Only tokens on the protocol whitelist can be used as basket constituents. This includes WETH and 24 Robinhood tokenized equities and ETFs (AAPL, AMD, AMZN, GOOGL, MSFT, NVDA, QQQ, SPY, TSLA, and others). New baskets can only combine whitelisted tokens.
Geographic & trading restrictions
Many basket constituents are Robinhood Stock Tokens. Stock Tokens are tokenised debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited. They provide economic exposure to underlying securities but do not grant investors any legal or beneficial rights in, or against the issuer of, those underlying securities.
Stock Tokens are not registered under U.S. securities laws and may not be offered, sold, or delivered, directly or indirectly, in the United States or to, or for the account or benefit of, U.S. persons. Offers and sales of Stock Tokens are subject to restrictions in other jurisdictions, including, without limitation, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. A full list of the jurisdictions in which offers or sales are restricted or prohibited is available here.
Nothing on Baskets.fund constitutes, and may not be used in connection with, an offer or solicitation in any place where offers or solicitations are not permitted by law. Nothing herein constitutes investment, legal, tax or financial advice. Prospective users should make their own assessment as to the suitability of interacting with basket funds that contain Stock Tokens.
This app may detect your approximate location (e.g. via IP address) and display a warning if minting or redeeming through the built-in swap flow is unlikely to work in your region. On-chain protocol contracts remain permissionless; geographic restrictions apply to Robinhood Stock Tokens and to swap routing availability, not to general access to Robinhood Chain.
